Details Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha
Activities: You will meet and greet with Lights on Africa members at Kilimanjaro International Airport then transferred to your hotel in Arusha for your overnight stay.
Accommodation: Forest Hill Hotel or Similar (Bed & breakfast)
Day 2: Arusha to Arusha National Park
Activities: After breakfast drive to Arusha National Park for a day game viewing. Arusha National Park is famous for being a home to a second highest mountain, a Mount Meru. A combination of wildlife and a mountain make this Park a great destination to visit. Observe variety of wildlife and bird species in this park with beauty scenic landscapes of green vegetation. Arusha National Park hosts a wide variety of landscapes, ranging from vast savannah and rainforest through to acacia woodlands and up to alpine vegetation on the higher reaches of Mount Meru. Enjoy picnic lunch in a picnic site then drive for afternoon game viewing. Drive back to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Activities: Early in the morning with your packed lunch boxes you will be transferred to Arusha Airport where you will take a flight to Northern Serengeti National Parks. Upon arrival start your adventure game drive at this great wildlife destination in the world. Serengeti National Park is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife: over millions of wildebeests, thousands of lions, thousand leopards, hundreds of cheetahs and more than 500 bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 square kilometers in size. It’s the only place where you can witness millions of migrating wildebeest over the savannah plains, it’s the cradle of human life, and probably the closest to an untouched African wilderness you will ever get. Drive to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full-game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Activities: After a delicious breakfast, you set off on a truly enchanting game drive in Serengeti National Park. The vast expanse of the savannah unfolds before you, teeming with a mesmerizing array of wildlife.Serengeti National Park is among of the best-known wildlife destinations in the world, unequaled for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. It hosts the earth lasted great migration of animals. Stop for picnic lunch at a picnic site. Continue exploring the vast plains of Serengeti National Park filled with abundant wildlife. In evening drive to your camp in central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Activities: Early in the morning after breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival descend to Ngorongoro Crater.The famous Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s seven natural wonders. The crater was formed two million years ago when a vast volcano erupted. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem, now home to the highest concentration of animals found anywhere in Africa! Once in the crater, thousands of animals such as lions, zebras, buffalos and black rhinos surround you, and the views are astounding. Stop for picnic lunch near hippo pool, then continue for afternoon game drive. In evening ascend the crater and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park.
Activities: After breakfast with your packed lunch box drive through tarmac road to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. This is Tanzania’s third largest National Park known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscapes, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centrepiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lions, leopards, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffaloes, Oryx, elands, giraffes and zebra. Stop at a picnic site for lunch, then continue exploring the vast landscapes of Tarangire National Park. Late afternoon drive to Arusha where you will transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to fly back home or dropped at hotel in case you extend your stay.
