Day 1: Arusha – Lake Natron – Base Camp
- Morning: Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha.
- Drive to Lake Natron: Approximately 4–5 hours, with stops for photos along the Rift Valley.
- Lunch: En route or upon arrival.
- Afternoon: Orientation with your guide, optional short walk to explore lava formations and Maasai villages.
- Evening: Overnight at a lodge or camp near Lake Natron. Dinner and rest.
Day 2: Pre-Summit Trek and Exploration
- Morning: Optional short hike to nearby viewpoints or explore the volcanic landscape.
- Cultural Experience: Visit Maasai villages to learn about local traditions and lifestyles.
- Afternoon: Relax at base camp, prepare for the summit climb.
- Evening: Dinner and overnight at base camp.
Day 3: Summit Climb – Descent – Return to Arusha
- Early Morning (2:00–3:00 AM): Start the trek to the summit of Oldonyo Lengai.
- Trek Duration: 4–6 hours ascent over volcanic sand and rocky terrain.
- Summit Experience: Panoramic views of Lake Natron, the Rift Valley, and surrounding volcanoes.
- Descent: 3–4 hours back to base camp.
