Details Itinerary
Safari Day 1: Tarangire National Park
You will drive from your hotel in Arusha to Tarangire National Park for walking safari and game drive. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The beauty of the park will offers you an awesome game viewing you have never seen and during the dry season, it attracts hundreds of animals to the park, making it a great destination for a wildlife exploration and bird viewing spectacular. The landscape is varied, with grassy savannah plains, swamps, hills and spectacular baobabs.
Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge – Karatu or Similar.
Meals: Bed, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Safari Day 2: Walking Safari in Empakai Crater
After breakfast drive to Nainokanoka and start a walk to Empakaai Crater. On this day the trek covers open grassland through a natural amphitheatre created by surrounding volcanoes. Masai people rush out of their traditional homes (Boma’s) to greet trekkers as they pass by. The steep walk up Empakaioffers breathtaking views, particularly from the top where the absolute sided settled crater can be seen. Traverse the crater with your own feet with a chance to observe some African animals like baboons and birds in the crater. Lunch at a picnic site in the crater.

Safari Day 3: Game drives in Serengeti National Park
Experience morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti. In today’s game drive, prepare to be awe-struck by one of the most spectacular wildlife experiences on Earth. As you venture into this vast and iconic park, you will get a chance to witness the millions of wildebeests, zebras, and other herbivores journey across the plains in search of fresh grazing lands. Enjoy picnic lunch at a picnic site in the park. Continue to explore the Serengeti’s diverse landscapes, from open savannahs to dense woodlands, provide a haven for the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros), along with cheetahs, giraffes, hyenas, and a diversity of bird species.

Safari Day 4: Walking Safari in Serengeti National Park
Today, you will be led for a walking safari in the heart of Serengeti, you will be escorted by an armed park ranger and you will tread in the same land as lions, elephants, and giraffes. The walking is a way to experience the bush while out of the SUV. Here you will be looking for small things like animal tracks, animal droppings, insects, plants, and their medicinal uses.

Safari Day 5: Lake Manyara Treetop Walk and transfer to Arusha
In Lake Manyara National Park you will do the well-known Canopy or Treetop Walk. At a height of 15 meters and a length of more than 370 meters, it leads you over steady, slight bridges along the treetops through the lovely untouched nature of the national park filled with monkeys, butterflies, and various exotic birds. The walk usually takes half an hour, but longer if you stop frequently along the way and enjoy the view. Experience nature from a completely new perspective! You will enjoy your picnic lunch along the hot spring. In evening drive back to Arusha
