Day 1: Welcome to the Spice Island, Zanzibar

You will be picked up from the airport/Ferry by Lights on Africa representative and driven to your
accommodation in Zanzibar. Depending on your arrival time, you will surely have time to relax, recover from jet lag and prepare for the relaxation of a lifetime!

Day 2: Stone Town and Cultural City Tour

When walking in the narrow streets was the talk of the town, and white stone
buildings with the famous ornamental Zanzibar doors were the main attractions. The walk offers an
overview of the history of the magnificent architectural buildings, some of which are over 200 years old.
This Zanzibar town shows the unique blend of different cultures that inhabited the island many years ago, ranging from Arabs, Portuguese, Indians, Yemenis, British, Chinese, and Persians, among others. Their influence can be noticed in many areas, including the construction of the buildings and the way in which the Zanzibar people dress. This tour of the Town ranges from 3 to 4 hours and will take you through famous areas, including Darajani Market, Old Arab Fort, Old Anglican Church, St. Joseph’s Cathedral and Sultan Palace Museum.

Day 3: Spice Island and Prison Island Tour

The Zanzibar Island is famously known for its spices farming, especially Cloves, since the colonial era. The tour gives you a chance to venture into the aromatic world of spices and learn of the cultivation of some of your favorite spices as you walk through rows filled with the aroma of rich spices that tease your senses. In between the spices, you will find a variety of tropical fruits, which are found in different stages and enhance your learning experience. Prison Island, also known as Changuu Island, is one of the historical attraction sites found in the Zanzibar islands. Built in 1893, the prison was designated to be used for slaves but ended up being quarantined for yellow fever patients. Apart from the ancient prison buildings, the island hosts a collection of endangered tortoise species as well as peacocks who are free to roam around the prison. Start off by boarding your private boat at Stone Town for your estimated 30-minute ride to the Prison Island.

Day 4: Leisure at your Hotel

After breakfast. It’s a full leisure day at the resort enjoying the day at the beach and the fateful night and
dinner at the resort. You will get to enjoy the swim in the pool or at the beach. Get full day sun. On this day you will get to choose to add extra activities that you want to do with extra cost.

Day 5: Dolphin Tour &Snorkeling

Mnemba Island located Northeast of Stone town has been hailed as one of the best beach destinations in Africa. This island is home to a variety of dolphin species including the bottlenose species which can be seen in groups between 10 and 20 at a time. The island also hosts many different species of coral fish and green turtles and makes it a great spot for this tour for swimming with the dolphins and watches other interesting sea species. Swimming with the dolphins in their natural habitat is always a fascinating
experience and once the dolphins are spotted it is advised to respect their privacy and keep a minimal distance before they voluntary move towards you and experience the thrills of this giants beside you. You will later move to the unique and clear coral reefs for snorkeling and more sightseeing of a variety of fish species. Finalize your tour with a relaxed spot on the sandbank.

Day 6: Last day of the Trip

This is your final day of your trip to Zanzibar. After breakfast pick up for departure subjected to your
flights details. An extended trio to Serengeti National Park can be arranged, which you will fly directly from Zanzibar.
