Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport - Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll go through the security checkpoint, and officials at the counter will check the required documents to verify your identity. You must have a valid passport, visa, and covid test certificate. After verification, you will take the luggage and go to the exit door, where you will find a Lights on Africa driver guide with a signboard written your name on it. He will greet you, take your luggage to our transfer vehicle, and transfer you to Arusha city.

Day 2: Drive To Tarangire National Park

You’ll have breakfast then be picked up from the hotel by a Lights on Africa safari guide, and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Its name originates from the Tarangire River, which crosses through the park and is the sole water source during the dry season. Tarangire’s landscapes is incredibly diverse, with a mix not found anywhere else on the northern safari circuit. It comprises of ancient baobab trees, which the Maasai believe are the first tree in creation, and giant termite mounds. The dry season sees the harsh sun suck the moisture from the landscape, baking the earth a dusty red, while the wet season brings dense bush and luscious high grasses. Later in the evening, you will drive to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Drive To Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up and drive to Lake Manyara for a full-day game drive. Lake Manyara makes up its unique wilderness which entails scenic landscapes such as Rift Valley, dense woodlands, and stunning mountainsides.It lies in the Northern circuit of Tanzania and it is 130km from Arusha and approximately 2 hour’s drive. You will get a chance to observe troops of African baboon who welcomes you as you enter the park, if you are lucky you may encounter with famous tree-climbing lions, also the park is a home to millions of pink flamingos. As the afternoon begins to end you will make your way toward your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4: Drive To Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up by a Lights on Africa driver guide and drive you to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is an extremely large and wild game park. Every traveler desires to see this nearly 15,000 square km. This park is truly “the endless plains” as it is known by the nomadic Maasai who lived here before. Your mind will be boggling by the quantity of wildlife inside Serengeti. It is the home of the Big Five “Lion, Leopard, bush elephant, African buffalo, and black rhino”. It is also famous for annual migration of wildebeests and beautiful landscapes. After the game viewing, you will drive to the lodge which is located inside the park and has an amazing view for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Game Drive In Central Serengeti National Park

The sound of Africa arouses you from a night of sleep and you will refresh up and go to the main area for breakfast. After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up for a full-day game drive. If you love animals then Serengeti is a good place to be. Around 3000 lions are living in the Serengeti ecosystem. They are relatively easy to spot not just because of their numbers but also because they like to rest about for hours each day under the trees and kopjes. The Serengeti also has bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, and birds like Kori bustard, Fischer’s, and many others. As the afternoon begins to end you will make your way toward your lodge which has a spectacular view and it is located inside the park for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Final Game Drive In Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up by Lights on Africa driver guide, and today you will venture deeper into the world-famous Serengeti on a final-day game drive.It occupies an area of around 15,000 square km with over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and some 500 bird species. This area is filled with massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebras during the dry season. Later in the evening, you will drive to your lodge located at the crater rim for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay. Tomorrow the wonders of the Ngorongoro crater awaits you.

Day 7: Game Drive In Ngorongoro Crater And Transfer To Arusha

Today you will drive to the 8th Wonder of the World for a full-day game drive spotting wildlife. Ngorongoro Crater known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden is a well-preserved natural phenomenon that has become a sanctuary for all kinds of wildlife. It is 190km from Arusha town. Here, you will find many reasons why you choose to come to safari. First, there was a volcanic caldera full of grassland, forest, and swamp, a settling jaw of beauty. Secondly, the permanent water of the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals and inside the crater, you might spot animals such as leopards, lions, black rhinos, hyenas, wallowing zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and many others. Soon after ascending from the crater floor, you will be transferred to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Flight To Zanzibar Island - Stone Town Tour

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to fly to Zanzibar. Upon arrival to Zanzibar you will be picked up by Lights on Africa representative who will take you for a city tour. This is a historical tour that takes you to the different historical sites of the ancient Arabic city in East Africa. The guide will give you an introduction to the history of the East African Coast, you will start by visiting the former slave market site, then head to the local market where you will get a chance to see ocean fishes and your guide will identify different kinds of them then you will proceed with visit the famous house of notorious slave trader Ahmed bin Tipu Tipu before continuing to the Arab Fort built by Omani Arabs three hundred years ago. As the afternoon begins to end you will be transferred to your beach hotel for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Relax At The Beach

After breakfast at your hotel, you can choose to kick back and enjoy the swimming pool or you can choose to go out by the ocean or pool area to relax and rejuvenate. Later in the evening you can choose to go back to your room or relax by the pool area till late at night. The choice is yours.

Day 10: Beach Hotel - Zanzibar Airport

After breakfast, depending on your flight time you will be picked up by a Lights on Africa representative and transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight back home.

Meals: Breakfast only.
