With a total land size of 15,000 square kilometers, it puts conventional notions of distance to rest. The Serengeti is home to Africa’s largest surviving concentration of plains animals. You should also keep an eye out for the Serengeti’s “kopjes”, which are enormous granite rocks towering in a sea of grass. They provide abundant habitat for a wide range of plants and wildlife. During the day’s game drive, a picnic lunch will be served. The exciting day concludes with a wonderful meal and a restful night’s sleep at Matawi Luxury Tented Camp.
